What we collect, and what we never touch.

The short version

Unbilled reads the Outlook records you authorize, proposes timesheet entries from them, and forgets nothing you told it to learn. It never collects your Microsoft password, never watches your screen, and never sells your data. Your billing profile lives on your computer, not on our servers.

What we collect

Waitlist email. The email address you submit on our signup form. Used only to contact you about beta access.
Microsoft account authorization. When you connect Outlook, you sign in with Microsoft and grant read-only access to mail and calendar. We receive an access token, not your password. You can revoke it anytime from your Microsoft account.
Your corrections. When you edit or reject a proposed entry, the correction improves your billing profile. The profile is stored locally on your computer.

What we never collect

Your Microsoft password or any other credential.
Screen recordings, keystrokes, or timer data. Unbilled reconstructs work you already did from records you already have.
Anything beyond the mail and calendar scopes you explicitly grant.

How your data is used

Your Outlook records are used for one purpose: reconstructing your timesheet. Entries are proposed to you and nothing is finalized without your review and approval. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Where your data lives

Your billing profile, including your drafting style, matter rules, client matter numbers, and corrections, is stored on your computer, not on our servers. When you disconnect Microsoft access, our access ends.

Your rights

Email [email protected] to request a copy of the data we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you by email before the change takes effect.
